Welcoming front of house, great I mean really great service inside. The food was amazing. My husband and I shared the coconut shrimp (which were huge). We both had the "Daily catch" which was Halibut. I have mine broiled his was blackened. Both were equally good. I had broccoli he had sautéed spinach both amazing prepared. I had rice (a little over spiced) he had the mash potatoes (excellent). The asked use right away if we wanted bread which is a surprise these days. We also ordered a nice bottle of Stags leap Chardonnay which we didn't finish. Our waitress (Cathrine) put it in a clear bag with the receipt for transport. I have also had the lobster many times , a great deal and very good every time.

My first time at Red's and it won't be my last! The food was excellent from the appetisers through to dessert. I enjoyed shellfish for apps, had salmon and Risotto for my main and had deliciou Key Lime Oie fir dessert, Our server, Bridget, was terrific. She was friendly, very attentive, and made the experience more enjoyable. The ambiance was typical shore seafood style, but very clean and organized. Definitely a winner!

Regular customer at Red's! I come weekly for the food, ambience and service. Super causal atmosphere and refreshing sitting on the water. Red's is always busy, all day everyday. I recommend to always make a reservation to secure great seating. New bar is fabulous! Lots of wonderful cocktails, sangria and beverages! I always order the lobster ravioli, Peel and eat shrimp and the daily special salad to get us started. The portion sizes will be enough to share for a table of 4. I like the lobster bisque as well. The food is fresh and full of flavor. I always order the lobster roll or stuffed shrimp for my meal. But frankly everything on the menu is delicious and tasty. French fries are also cooked fresh. Lovely selection of food for kids including chicken fingers, hot dogs and burgers. Portion size is generous and usually priced right. I have never had a bad meal. I have never experienced bad service, the staff is super friendly and always hustling to serve the customers. The restaurant is always clean. HIGHLY recommend.

Deliciousness - 4/5 Happiness - 3/5 With a bar/outdoor seating view overlooking the water and an air conditioned inside seating area if you're so inclined, Red's is a good option for a sit-down restaurant at the shore. Although we got there really early (around 4:30), it was already packed. We had to sit inside, which was a bit cramped but also nice and cool. I got the fish of the day, which was cooked well, although the rice it came with was really bland (and I saved my calories by not eating all of it). That said, the fish was bursting with flavor and expertly cooked. My kids got salmon and fish and chips and both of those were even better. The salmon flaked apart and had a perfectly balanced lemon sauce that added just enough acidity but avoided being too sour. The batter covering the fish (of fish and chips) was really good (clearly made onsite) and the fries remained nice and crispy (I bemoan soggy fries that often accompany this meal). My wife got the risotto - a tough thing to cook right - and was very pleased with it. The waiter was also really nice and engaging, helping a long wait for the food fly by. My other relatives got shellfish (which I don't eat), but I'd note it was a good price and they were very happy with their meals too. This is definitely a place I'd visit if you venture off the boardwalk.

Food is a 10 out of 10, service is 10 out of 10, ambience 10 out of 10, parking 7 out of 10 (especially with a full size pickup).

As a lifelong New Jersey resident I am sorry I've only discovered this place recently. The food and service is excellent. I had the seafood burrito and it was prepared perfectly. My girlfriend had the crabcake sandwich and absolutely loved it (she can be picky sometimes). I recommend Red's Lobster Pot and can't wait to visit again!

Red's has now added a bar outside and is no longer a BYOB establishment. Right on the water very quaint. As far as the food goes they are hitting it out of the park with their seafood and pasta dishes. Just take a look at my photos attached, simply mouth watering. Dinner now includes the price of alcohol which drives the overall price up for sure but worth the price of entry for a relaxing seafood dinner on the Jersey shore..

Love this place and it got even better! They added a full bar and even more outdoor seating. This place has the best local seafood and specials. The flat iron steak and bacon wrapped scallops was amazing!

First trip to Reds, and won't be the last. Nice waterfront seating with roll up plastic windows which were needed when big storm came in. My wife's flounder francaise was excellent, and my stuffed flounder was great, too. Firm, fresh filets with delicious rice pilaf. However, broccoli was steamed with raw garlic that was a bit biting... though was al dente. Both entrees were delivered hot to the table. The bread to start the meal, curiously, was kinda stale; unfortunate, bc we wanted to dip into the delicious francaise sauce. Our server was efficient but not overly friendly, unlike every other employee that we encountered. Overall, a great restaurant meal for us.

What a great shore restaurant! From the overall welcoming porch with red awnings and signage to the boats parked dockside and sunset seating this is just a great place. We did not have a reservation but that did not seem to be a problem. They were able to seat us right away on the porch. The menu is not large but it is chock full of delicious choices that are focused on fresh seafood. They had a weekly specials menu as well which gave us even more options to try to decide over! We chose the Fried Clams from the regular appetizer menu and a special PEI mussels in a spicy marinara sauce with bacon and potatoes. Sounds odd but wow what a savory, hearty but light dish. The fried clams were crispy and served with lemon and a side of tartar sauce. We also got a side of cocktail sauce too. They were tender and delicious. Even my 10 year old enjoyed them and she doesn't eat seafood unless it's a frozen fish stick. As for entrees my daughter got a classic kids menu option, pasta with butter and cheese which she was very happy with. My husband had the Lobster Ravioli which was in a pink vodka sauce. It was filing but seemed to be a little inconsistent as some of them seemed to have a nice chunk of lobster where others didn't. Seeing that there were only 5 that was a little odd. Overall he enjoyed them and said they were enjoyable! I chose their classic Lobster Roll but opted for the lettuce 'boat' served cold in mayo which was a perfect combination/substitution. Crispy baby romaine leaves cradled a very generous portion of lobster in dressing. I added some Cole slaw and devoured it. The dish came with what seemed like fresh cut French fries. If they were frozen I'd be surprised. Pricing was average for a fresh seaside seafood restaurant. The appetizers were between $15-20 each and entrees ran in the high $20's. The daily lobster special was $44 for a 1.5lbs lobster with corn on the cob and slaw just for reference. Our server Sandy was just a sweet as can be. Obviously a seasoned staff member she was happy to give us time as well as answer questions about the menu. Runners and busers were friendly and added to the enjoyment of the evening. There was no room for dessert although they had a few amazing looking offerings! Maybe next time!
